Shrimp trader stabbed to death

A shrimp trader was stabbed to death at Chouddohajari village in Bagerhat on Thursday night.
The victim was identified as Eskander Sheikh, 38.
The police arrested his wife Parveen Begum and his younger brother Mahmud Sheikh in connection with the murder.
The arrestees confessed that they hired a killer to kill Eskander Sheikh, the police said.
But the motive behind the killing could not be established yet.
The killer could not be arrested as of yesterday evening.
