Murray Madrid master

British fourth seed Andy Murray won the second major title of his career on Sunday with a 6-4, 7-6 defeat of France's Gilles Simon in the final of the Madrid Masters.
Murray, who had already qualified for the season wrap-up event in Shanghai, also claimed the fourth title of the season after winning the Cincinnati Masters two months ago.
He is the first player from Britain to win four ATP crowns in a single season.
The victory in 1hr34min denied Simon a chance to improve in the race for the season-ending Masters Cup, where the Frenchman stands provisional ninth with two weeks of regular season play remaining.
