Women Entrepreneurs Trade Expo begins Sept 29

A weeklong international trade show to be participated by women entrepreneurs will begin in Dhaka from September 29, says a press release.
Pakistan High Commission to Bangladesh is organising the fourth version of the exposition styled 'Women Entrepreneur Trade Fair 2007' at National Shooting Federation at Gulshan-1 in the capital.
Bank Alfalah Ltd and Warid Telecom are the sponsors of the exhibition, which will be participated by women entrepreneurs from Pakistan, China, India, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
The fair will give a unique platform to women involved in small and medium enterprises in Bangladesh and other countries of the region for market orientation, business exposure and networking with each other.
Products to be showcased at the fair include fabrics, embroidered ladies', gents' and children's clothes, shoes, sandals, bangles, bags, runners, scarves, cushions, herbal cosmetics, home decor and bed linen.
Pakistani High Commissioner Alamgir Babar is expected to inaugurate the show.
The objective of the show is to assist Bangladesh's women entrepreneurs in networking with each other and with women entrepreneurs from other Asian countries.
The fair also aims at developing market strategies suitable for women entrepreneurs and training and equipping them in production techniques, time management, finance management, local and export marketing, packaging, pricing and communication skills through discussions and practical experience.
