Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) and police, in a joint raid, recovered 3,700 bottles of phensidyl and liquor from a house at Gouripur village in Daudkandi upazila yesterday.
Acting on a tip-off, Crime Prevention Company of Rab and Daudkandi thana police raided the house of Sattar Sarkar and recovered 3,050 bottles of phensidyl, 548 cans of bear and 100 bottles of whisky.
They also arrested three persons - Babul, Manoranjan Saha and Mohsin for possessing the contraband items.
