Nakamura doubt for Milan
Celtic's Japanese playmaker Shunsuke Nakamura is facing a race against time to be fit for next week's Champions League clash against AC Milan at Parkhead.
The 29-year-old Celtic star is a doubt for the visit by the European champions after aggravating a strain in his left knee in last week's defeat to Shakhtar Donetsk.
He is definitely out of the CIS Cup tie against Dundee on Wednesday and is almost certain to miss Saturday's SPL game with Dundee United.
Nakamura told The Daily Record on Tuesday: "The problem is in my left knee and it happened during the Spartak Moscow game. I thought it was okay until I felt it again over in Donetsk.
"I've not trained since. I had it examined on Thursday night and it was decided I couldn't play against Hibs on Sunday. I won't be fit to play at Dundee and I don't think I'll be ready for the Dundee United game.
"As for playing AC Milan, I honestly don't know if I'll be fit enough. I want to play because I love the Champions League. But I can't say for sure whether I will be ready or not. I hope so."
