Abul Hossain hospitalised
Language movement veteran, freedom fighter and leader of National Awami Party (NAP) Abul Hossain has been suffering from a massive heart attack and brain stroke simultaneously.
He was admitted to Dhaka City Hospital in a critical condition after he fell sick at his residence on August 15, says a press release.
Family members of the veteran leader requested his friends and well-wishers to pray for his early recovery.
Abul Hossain actively participated in the Language Movement in 1952. He was confined to the Dhaka Central Jail for 11 months after the death of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
