Tac hears two engineers' plea for clemency
The Truth and Accountability Commission (Tac) continued its hearings on the pleas of clemency seekers on the second day yesterday.
According to sources, the three-member commission, headed by Justice Habibur Rahman Khan, heard two cases involving two engineers of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority and their wives.
Tac started hearings on the pleas of the clemency-seekers on Monday. On the opening day, the commission heard the appeals of seven people involving in four cases.
The commission is scheduled to hear the cases of six people, including officials from Chittagong Port Authority and forest department, today.
