Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab-1) and Detective Branch (DB) of Police seized 1,300 pieces of Yaba tablets and arrested three people in the city yesterday.
The arrestees were identified as Mohammad Nazrul Islam, Abdul Gafur and Amir Hossain.
Rab-1 sources said they arrested Gafur from Gulistan area with 1,000 pieces of Yaba tablets and Tk 1.3 lakh and Nazrul from Azampur area at Uttara with 50 pieces of tablets.
DB police sources said they arrested Amir from the city's Rampura area and recovered 250 pieces of Yaba tablets.
