Acid attack on housewife

A young housewife received burns as two young men threw acid at her in the city's Sabujbagh area last night.
The two threw acid at Poly Begum, wife of Azizur Rahman, at her rented house at Baganbari in Madartek at around 10:30pm, the police said.
She was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Quoting the victim, Sub-Inspector Humayun Kabir of Sabujbagh Police Station said, “The two sons of her landlord threw acid through the window at her over a feud between her family and the landlord."
BODY FOUND
Meanwhile, the police recovered the body of a housewife at Jatrabari in the city yesterday.
The victim was identified as Shathi Akhter, 20, wife of Mosharraf Hossain, a worker in a book binding shop.
Police recovered the body by breaking the lock of her rented house at Gabindapur.
