Indian HC celebrates independence day

The High Commission of India in Dhaka celebrated the 62nd Independence Day of India with traditional pomp and gaiety, says a press release.
Indian High Commissioner Pinak Ranjan Chakravarty unfurled the national flag and read out the president's message to the people of India on the eve of the Independence Day.
Students of Bangladesh-India International School and members of the Indian community in Bangladesh also rendered patriotic songs on the occasion.
At least 500 members of the Indian community in Bangladesh, members of the Indian High Commission and other distinguished guests attended the function.
