"Borsha Mongal Utsab" was celebrated at the Lokayan Museum premises in Sadar upazila, Thakurgaon recently to celebrate the monsoon. Lokayan Museum authority organised the programme.
A discussion was held at the venue prior to the cultural programme.
Deputy Commissioner of Thakurgaon, Miah Abdullah Mamun attended the programme as chief guest. Lokayan Museum Chairman, Muhammad Shahid-uz-Zaman presided over the event.
At the cultural programme, Jasmin Akter began by singing a folk song, Simsimai dewar pani Alay ana de. The group performances included Emon-o barisha, Esho neep-o bon-e and more.
Local cultural personalities and government officials attended the programme.
