Silver ornaments worth Tk10 lakh seized in Benapole

Members of Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) yesterday seized silver ornaments worth around Tk 10 lakh from Benapole Bazar.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of BDR recovered the smuggled ornaments weighing 342 tolas of silver in an abandoned condition.
Later, BDR deposited the ornaments to the Benapole customs warehouse, sources said.
