'Implement UGC Rules-92 to end irregularities in private varsities'

Bangladesh Private University Student Unit on Tuesday demanded that the caretaker government implement the University Grants Commission (UGC) Rules-92 to end the irregularities in private universities.
Unit leaders gathered in front of the Aparajeyo Bangla at around 11:30am and held a rally to press home their 10-point demand.
The demands include same syllabus for all private universities, own campuses, quality teachers, modern lab and library facilities and curbing corruption and irregularities in admission process.
