Rejoinder, our reply
Khulna City Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Prof Mian Golam Parwar has issued rejoinder to a news item headlined 'Three candidates hold secret meets with Jamaat leader Parwar' that was published in The Daily Star on July 27.
In his rejoinder, the Jamaat leader said that he did not hold any closed-door meeting with three mayoral candidates Moniruzzaman Moni, Enayet Ali and Moslemuddin. He termed holding of local body elections by present government as a clear violation of the country's constitution.
