2-day job fair begins at DU

A two-day job fair began on the premises of the Faculty of Business Studies at Dhaka University (DU) yesterday.
A total of nine corporate houses, including ACI, Mutual Trust Bank, HRC Group, Citycell, Rahimafrooz, Roxi Paints, Bombay Sweets and Voice of Business, joined the fair with different facilities and information about their respective companies.
Department of Marketing (BBA 10th batch) of the faculty organised the fair.
A number of faculty students expressed their satisfaction saying such fairs offer them an opportunity to have a closer look at the corporate houses.
Earlier in the morning, DU Vice Chancellor Prof SMA Faiz formally inaugurated the fair as the chief guest, while FBCCI President Annisul Huq and Business Studies Faculty Dean Prof Serajul Islam were present as guest of honour and special guest respectively. Prof Haripada Bhattacharjee, chairman of the Marketing department, presided over the inaugural session.
Seminar, workshop and spot interview were held at the fair venue as part of the occasion, which will end today.
