CJFD executives

Shilabrata Barua of Dainik Samakal and Saif Islam Dilal of Dainik Amar Desh were elected president and general secretary of Chittagong Journalists' Forum-Dhaka (CJFD) yesterday.
They were at the annual general meeting of CJFD at the Jatiya Press Club.
Other office-bearers are Vice President: Nizamuddin Ahmed (Reuters), Joint Secretary: Syed Golam Mustafa (Bangla Bazar), Finance Secretary: Anup Khastagir (BSS), Office and Publicity Secretary: AFM Borhan (Chatgar Bani) and Social Welfare, Sports and Cultural Secretary: Santosh Sharma.
EC members are Md Mustafa Kamal (UNB), Quader Gani Chowdhury (Dinkal), Shaheen -ul-Islam Chwodhury and M Saim Tipu (News Net).
Earlier, CJFD outgoing General Secretary M Saim Tipu and Treasurer Syed Golam Mustafa
presented their reports at the AGM with its outgoing President Shaheen-ul-Islam Chowdhury.
