Shelu Barua working on new album

Artiste Shelu Barua is set to release his new solo album of adhunik songs. The album tilted Kachhe Thako Chhuye Thako, featuring ten songs, will be launched some time in July. “The album will feature adhunik songs with a tinge of ghazal,” Barua informed.
“Each song of the album is melodious,” said Barua, who is also doing the music direction of the album.
Noted lyricist K.G. Mustafa has written the songs. Mustafa is known for his popular songs including Tomarey legechhey eto je bhalo, Aainatey oi mukh dekhbe jokhon and more.
This album marks Barua's debut as a music composer.
Some of the songs included in the album are -- the title song Kachhe thako chhuye thako, Jey haat chhuyechho tumi, Kotha shuney jao and Chhiley eka.
About the album, Shelu Barua said, “I hope that listeners with a keen sense of melody would like the album.”
