82pc pass Dakhil examinations
The pass rate in this year's Dakhil examinations under the Madrasa Education Board has increased to 82.06 per cent from the previous year's 65.87 per cent.
The results of SSC (vocational) exams under the Technical Education Board are also better than the previous year's. The pass rate in the board is 62.88 per cent while it was 51.08 per cent last year.
The pass rate in Madrasa Education Board this year is 9.88 per cent higher than the average pass rate of 72.18 per cent of the nine education boards.
Out of 180,585 examinees from the Madrasa Board this year, 148,186 passed Dakhil exams while 10,526 of them attained GPA 5 placing the board at the second position after the Dhaka Board in terms of GPA 5 achievers among nine education boards.
The number of male students having GPA 5 under the Madrasa Board stands at 8,003 while 2,523 female students secured GPA 5 under the board this year.
The pass percentage among male students under the Madrasa Board stands at 84.21 per cent while it is 79.47 per cent among female students.
Of 98,721 male candidates, 83,129 passed while among 81,864 female examinees 65,057 passed under the board.
Of the 82,375 students who took the SSC (vocational) exams, 51,801 passed. Female students have performed better than males only in the Technical Education Board.
The pass rate among female students under the board is 63.37 per cent while it is 62.67 per cent among male students.
Out of 57,262 male candidates under the board, 35,888 passed while among 25,113 female examinees 15,913 passed.
Of the 57 GPA 5 achievers under the board, 33 are male and 24 are female.
