HP joins hand with CSL Bangladesh
HP appointed Computer Source Limited (CSL), the largest technology distributor in Bangladesh, as its authorised distributor in the country for HP Server & Storage products. The announcement came at a press briefing on June 23.
CSL with its extensive network of resellers in Dhaka, Chittagong, Kushtia and Rajshahi will now work to extend HP's geographical reach across the country.
Steven Kim, general manager of HP AEC (Asia Emerging Countries), told reporters at a press briefing that the "appointment of CSL as a business partner enables us to get closer to our customers in Bangladesh, ensuring better support for our extended product portfolio." He also said, "We believe that Dhaka-based CSL which has a strong track record in the market would play a key role in helping HP realise its business objectives in Bangladesh."
AHM Mahfuzul Arif, managing director of CSL, said, "We are pleased and excited to be representing and working with HP in Bangladesh." He added that "our proven distribution strength as well as pre- and post-sales track record reinforces our commitment to our resellers. This has been achieved by always providing them with leading products and solutions in the market, thus opening up new business opportunities for them."
CSL promises to support end-users who had bought HP products before the agreement, provided the products are still within the warranty period. Therefore, getting your HP items serviced would not be a problem.
It is hoped that with the help of CSL, buying HP products will be a more sweat-free and assured affair for customers in Bangladesh.
