Tolerance needed
Thanks to AMK Chowdhury for his concern about ''derogatory practice '' an issue he raised in an article published in a weekly.
Historians like Nihar Ranjan Roy or RC Majumder say that Benglaees and sub-continentals are very emotional. Because of genetics or environment we can't tolerate others' opinions. Unfortunately, that ''national psyche'' brings quick decision making, which reflected our political institutions and history, fuelled by other variables, in comparison to other cool headed nations. Consequently, consciousness, rationality and pragmatism should be established in society, rather than hypnotisation or witch-hunting.
Half truths can be worse than full lies!
