Nat'l cycling from May 1

The NCC Bank 32nd National Cycling Competition will begin at the Outer Stadium on Thursday.
Some hundred cyclists representing 18 teams will compete in 23 events of the meet of which twelve are men's events and eleven are women's. The competition will for three days.
Of the estimated Tk 358,000 budget, sponsors NCC Bank will provide Tk 200,000. Private satellite channel ATN Bangla is expected to telecast the competition live. Akij Group will provide soft drinks for the meet.
Bangladesh Cycling Federation (BCF) senior vice-president Mahbubuzzaman disclosed the details at a press conference at the National Sports Council (NSC) conference room yesterday.
NCC Bank senior executive vice-president Mohabbat Khan, federation vice-president Iqramuzzaman, general secretary Parvez Hasan and joint secretary Jobera Rahman Linu were present at the conference.
