Rakib still on top
Grand Master Abdullah Rakib won his fourth round board against International Master Enamul Hossain Rajib to maintain solo lead in the 34th National Chess Championship at the federation hallroom yesterday.
Rakib secured four points while Grand Master Ziaur Rahman and FM Minhazuddin Ahmed Sagar followed him with 3.5 points each.
Zia beat Mohammad Abdul Malek and Sagar defeated FM Mohammad Javed.
In the other matches, GM Reefat Bin Sattar beat Sohel Chowdhury, FM Abu Sufian Shakil beat FM Sheikh Nasir Ahmed, Monir Hossain drew with Debaraj Chatterjee.
