29 JMB men produced before court

Police produced 29 Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) men, including two death sentence awardees and the wife of executed JMB kingpin Siddiqul Islam Bangla Bhai, before a Mymensingh court yesterday.
The accused JMB men were produced before the court of Second Additional Judge Court. They are Salahuddin Salehin, 35, Asaduzzaman Ponir, 22, Fahima Akhtar, 30, wife of Bangla Bhai, Mahmudul Hasam Sumon, 20, Maksudur Rahman, 18, Masudur Rahman, 21, Safayet Hossain, 20, Mir Hossain Mondol, 18, Kazi Noor-e-Alam Siddique, 48, Shahabuddin, 17, Ibrahim Sharif, 23, Abul Hasan, 19, Chand Miah, 30, Muhibullah, 20, Jamaluddin, 20, Nizamuddin, 27, Ershad Hossain, 18, Omar Faruq, 21, Shafiqul Islam, 22, Tofazzol Hossain, 24, Jamanur Fakir, 25, Saiful Islam, 27, Kamruzzaman, 30, Mahmudul Hasan, 20, Anwar Hossain, 25, Abdul Quayyum, 22, Ibrahim, 25, Yeasin Sheikh, 18 and Afzal, 17.
Salahuddin Salehin and Asaduzzaman Ponir were earlier awarded capital punishment in a case. They are accused 11 different cases including Netrokona bomb blast case, Jibontala Madrasa case with Bhaluka Police Station and another case filed with Muktagachha Police Station.
Assistant Public Prosecutor Abul Kashem Musa who stood for the state said charge framing against them was not done due to absence of plaintiffs. They will be produced before the same court on June 17, he said.
