"Baishakh elo ananda niye"- on Baishakhi TV

A special play Baishakh elo ananda niye will be aired on Baishakhi TV on April 14, at 09:00 pm. The play is written by Rokeya Islam and directed by Sadeque Siddique.
A retired government official Mallik leads a comfortable life with his wife Maya, two sons Siam and Tarun and daughter Srabonti. Siam is busy running his business while Tarun feels threatened by the female population at all times and is part of a committee of bachelors. Siam and his girlfriend constantly fight over petty matters. On the other hand, Srabonti spends most of her time at beauty parlours. Another member of the family is Mallik's brother. He leads an idle life and romances Maya's sister Yasmin, who is a women's rights activist. On the day of Pahela Baishakh they overcome all their worries and their lives take a new turn.
Shahed, Sakiba, Nupur Islam, Sohel, Shyamoli, Mir Selim, Tushar, Zebunnesa, C. B. Zaman and Badshah play the various roles in the play.
