Dress exhibition begins at RU

A four-day dress exhibition styled 'Grameen Poshak' began at the hall room of central cafeteria of Rajshahi University (RU) on Thursday to celebrate the Pahela Baishakh, first day of the Bangla New Year.
Kajol, Mukta, Shanta, Nazira, Mitu and Onirban, 4th year students of Fine Arts Department, jointly organised the exhibition.
Fine Arts Department Chairman Prof Amirul Momenin Chowdhury inaugurated the exhibition, while teachers and students of the department were present on the occasion.
Around one hundred colourful new and traditional dresses have been put on display in the exhibition.
The exhibition will remain open from 9:00am to 2:30pm daily.
