Rain forces washout

Rain ruined the opening day's play of the first four-day match between South Africa Academy team and GP-BCB Academy at the Jessore Divisional Stadium yesterday.
Overnight rain threatened a late start but more shower early in the morning ensured the washout.
After the first four-day match, the South Africans will play the second four-dayer from April 9 at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Matiur Rahman Stadium in Khulna.
The two teams will be joined by the Pakistan Academy in the triangular Grameenphone Academy Cup later this month.
