Hearing on April 9

A court here yesterday called for the dockets in connection with a case against 23 BNP leaders and activists including former ministers Abdullah Al Noman and Mir Nasir as a naraji (no confidence) petition was filed after police submitted the final report of the case.
Chittagong Metropolitan Session Judge ANM Bashirullah fixed April 9 for hearing on the petition.
Public Prosecutor (PP) Ahsanul Hoque Hena filed his naraji petition when the Investigation Officer (IO) Pradip Das of Kotwali PS submitted the final report of the case.
Rezaul Karim, then constable of Kotwali Police Station, filed the case in connection with bomb attack from a procession at New Market area on December 12, 1999.
