Ispahani earns title rights

Ispahani Limited earned the title sponsorship right for the three-match one-day series between Bangladesh and Ireland to be held at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.
"Ispahani earned the right as the highest bidder as they offered Tk 18 lakhs in revised bidding. Our floor price however was Tk 25 lakhs," said Shafiqur Rahman Munna, member of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), yesterday at a press conference.
He also said that BCB has received a total of Tk 34 lakhs from the sponsorship rights as Axiom Technologies provided Tk 16 lakh under package 2 and 3 for in stadia rights.
The match will be held on March 18, 20 and 22 with state-run Bangladesh Television beaming live coverage from Mirpur.
Ispahani Group chairman Mirza Ali Behrouze Ispahani, senior manager (marketing) SM Shawkat Hussain and Board member Ishtiaque Ahmed were present on the occasion.
