Tigers play final ODI today
All-rounder Forhad Reza is set to replace left-arm spinner Mosharraf Hossain as Bangladesh go for further damage limitation today in the third and final one-day international after conceding the series 2-0 to the visiting South Africans.
The match will be telecast live on BTV and NEO Sports from 9.30am from the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
Mosharraf will give away his spot after failing to take a single wicket and Rajshahi's Forhad is likely to play his first game of the series.
The pressure will be on captain Mohammad Ashraful after a fourth ball duck in the second match at the same venue two days ago.
For the visitors, it will be a big opportunity to go past Australia in the ICC one-day rankings as they need to win this game as well to oust the world champions from their place. But tension is brewing among the Proteas' ranks after it was learned that their paceman Andre Nel is thinking of quitting international cricket after being left out of the squad that tour India later this month.
Whether Nel plays today is uncertain but South Africa still have options in Dale Steyn, player-of-the-series in the 2-0 Test whitewash, and Morne Morkel.
