Release of BNP leaders demanded

Activist of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) Chittagong University (CU) unit yesterday formed a human chain in front of Chittagong University Central Students' Union (CUCSU) building on the campus demanding release of BNP chairperson and other party leaders.
Sources said 10 to 15 activists of the JCD formed the human chain at around 12:30pm and disappeared from the spot before the proctor and police reach the spot.
CU Proctor Prof Jasim Uddin said that being informed, he sent two assistant proctors to the spot, but they didn't find anyone once they after reaching the spot.
