BDR make it 17 out of 18

Bangladesh Rifles retained the national handball title when they defeated Bangladesh Police 28-15 in the Exim Bank 18th National Men's Handball Championship at the Outer Stadium handball ground yesterday.
The winners, who led the first half 17-8, won the trophy for 17 times to maintain their monopoly.
Bangladesh Ansar finished third with a 37-18 win against Rajshahi in the play-off.
BDR's Kamrul Islam was adjudged the player of the final.
Bangladesh Handball Federation president and Industry Secretary Dr Mohammad Nurul Amin Prodhan distributed prizes.
