DUFS set to arrange 2nd Internationall Short Film Festival

Dhaka University Film Society (DUFS) in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Bangladesh is going to arrange the 'International Inter-University Short Film Festival' for the second time, according to a press release. The festival will be held from April 17 to 19, 2008 at the auditorium of Goethe-Institut.
Only university students can submit short films (each participant is allowed to turn in two films) made in DVD format and duration for each film should be within ten minutes. Students have to register for each film. The deadline for submission is April 13. Interested students are requested to contact the DUFS office at TSC, Dhaka University for further information.
The festival will showcase short and independent films made by the students of local and international universities. It is an initiative to create a space for the young film enthusiasts to showcase and share their works and views with each other.
