Uni cricket

Eight matches took place in the Clemon Indoor Uni Cricket Tournament at the Shaheed Sohrawardi Indoor Stadium in Mirpur as the competition entered its fifth day yesterday.
The day began with Jahangirnagar University (128-5) thrashing ASA University (47-5) by 81 runs. Next, East West University (95-2) beat Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (94-8) by five wickets. Meanwhile, North South University (132-1) defeated Manarat International University (126-6) by six wickets and BUET (153-8) beat UITS (127-5) by 26 runs in the fourth and fifth games respectively.
Three more games took place after lunch. Military Institute of Science and Technology (73 -2) eased to a five-wicket win over Southern University of Bangladesh (72- 7), while Stamford University (91-3) beat United International University (89-6) by four wickets. The day's final game saw Jagannath University (59-4) cruise to a three wicket victory over Zahirul Islam Medical College (53-7).
