Anandamoyee School defeated Nahar Academy 3-0 in the opening match of the Walton 2nd Women's Hockey Tournament at the Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium yesterday.
Shahin Sultana struck a brace while Hazera scored one goal in the match, which was inaugurated by Zahid Ahsan Rasel, chairman of the parliamentary standing committee for youth and sports.
Apart from these two teams, Municipal School, Bandarban DSA and Narail DSA are also taking part the five-team completion.
