Dhaka win big

Dhaka raced to a 50-run victory over Sylhet at the Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi yesterday in the ongoing Women's National Cricket League (NCL). Batting first, Dhaka finished on 168 for 8 in 50 overs. In reply, Sylhet were restricted to 118
for 9.
Ayesha Akhter scored 30 off 34 balls, whereas Farzana Akter scored a 77-ball 42 as the batters took Dhaka past the 150-mark. Yamin Rupa, who had figures of three for 36 was the pick of the bowlers for Sylhet.
Sylhet on the other hand rode on a half-century from Montaha Khatun. Her 52 off 122 balls was however not enough to take her team home. Dhaka's Shohaly Akter and Suborna Islam did most of the damage as they scalped seven of the nine wickets.
