Man shot dead

A gang of muggers killed a jewellery shop employee and snatched away some gold ornaments and money from him at Tamakpatti in Muktagachha upazila of Mymensingh on Thursday night.
Ujjal Debnath, 35, worked at "Ma Rajeswari Jewellery" at Darichariani Bazar in the upazila headquarters.
Muktagachha police said the motorcycle-riding gang shot Ujjal in the abdomen near his residence.
Ujjal was declared dead at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
