Mamun, Mithun banned

Sheikh Russel KC will miss the services of Mamunul Islam and Mithun Chowdhury in their crucial encounter of the Grameenphone Bangladesh Premier League against Sheikh Jamal DC on Wednesday as the BFF disciplinary committee yesterday handed them one-match ban for misbehaviour with the assistant referee.
Sheikh Russel are trail joint-leaders Sheikh Jamal and Abahani by three points as they have 22 points from 10 matches, having played a match less than the leaders.
According to BFF press release, Mamun and Mithun were handed one-match ban as they hurled abuse toward the assistant referee following their 1-0 defeat at the hands of Mohammedan SC on Saturday.
Sheikh Russel official Shahjahan Kabir and ball-boy Kalam have also been given stadium ban during the ongoing league as Shahjahan hurled abuse and hit the door of referees' dressing room after the match while Kalam assaulted the referee physically.
Sheikh Russel have also been fined for Tk 20,000 for the misdemeanour.
