DU Shibir leader pushed off third floor

Dhaka University students pushed an Islami Chhatra Shibir leader off Haji Muhammad Mohsin Hall's third floor and beat up two other leaders last night.
Rakib, the hall's Shibir unit president and of political science department, was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital after being pushed off.
Sanaullah Pritom, the hall's Shibir unit general secretary and of law department; and Noki, the hall's Shibir unit organising secretary and of development studies department; were handed over to police.
Students beat up the three, who admitted to be Shibir leaders, said police. Students said the three were posing as Bangladesh Chhatra League activists but the students found a list of Shibir activists in their rooms.
