Death anniversary

Tomorrow is the 26th death anniversary of Moniruddin Yusuf, a poet, philosopher, and translator.
On the occasion, a discussion will be held on CNC premises in the capital's Purana Paltan tomorrow.
On February 15, a milad mahfil will also be held in a mosque at his village Boulai Shaheb Bari in Kishoreganj after Juma prayers while another doa mahfil will be held in his son's residence at Mohammadpur in the capital after Asr prayers.
Yusuf, renowned for Bangla translation of the epic "Shahnama" written by great poet Ferdousi, made a great contribution to Bangla literature.
