Khoka gets bail in graft case

A Dhaka court yesterday granted bail to former Dhaka City Corporation mayor Sadeque Hossain Khoka and three others in a corruption case.
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed the case on February 15 accusing the four of misappropriating Tk 26 lakh from public fund and adding a loss of another Tk 11 lakh to it.
The others accused are Abdul Baten, president of DCC supermarket in Banani, Mahmudul Hassan Azad, the market's general secretary, and AHM Tareque, manager of the market's parking lot.
The court yesterday passed the order after the four sought bail in the case.
