4 killed in road crashes
Four people were killed and 10 others injured in separate road accidents across the country on Friday and yesterday.
Our Munshiganj correspondent reports, a five-year-old girl was killed as a truck hit the bicycle she was riding near Fire Service Station in Munshiganj town yesterday.
The deceased is Archi Akther, daughter of Jahir Uddin of Munshiganj Sadar upazila.
Our Magura correspondent reports, a bicyclist was killed when a bus of Eagle Paribahan knocked him down while he was crossing Magura-Dhaka highway in Boro-Kasundi area of Magura Sadar upazila yesterday.
The victim is Mohammad Shoeb Ali Khan, 62, of Khordo Kasundi village in the upazila.
Our Brahmanbaria correspondent adds, a passenger was killed and ten others were injured when a bus fell in a roadside ditch when the driver lost control over the steering on Comilla-Sylhet highway at Bariura village in Sarail upazila early Friday.
The deceased is Alam, 40, of Comilla.
The injured were sent to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital.
Our Pabna correspondent reports, Shahbul Sardar, 36, of Ishwardi upazila, was killed as a truck hit his bicycle while he was crossing Pabna-Kushthia highway in Shahpur area on Friday evening.
