Natya Kendra to stage adaptation of “The Servant of Two Masters”

Theatre group Natya Kendra is set to stage its new play “Dui Je Chhilo Ek Chakor”, an adaptation of the 18th century play “The Servant of Two Masters”, written by Venetian playwright Carlo Goldoni.
Director of the play, and leader of the group, Tariq Anam Khan informed that it is a classic comedy, with elements of love, separation, mischief, twists and turns, and the 'all's well that ends well' closing.
The cast includes Yousuf Hasan Orko, Lucy Tripti Gomez, Sangeeta Chowdhury, Noor-e Alam Nayan, Habib Masud, Shariful Islam Himon, Ariq Anam and Manami Islam Konok. The set, costume and light have been designed by Kamaluddin Khan, Lucy Tripti Gomez and Saifuddin Ahmed respectively.
The premiere show of the play will be held at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy at 6:30 pm on January 24.
