12 hurt in BCL infighting

At least 12 activists were injured in a clash between two groups of Bangladesh Chhatra League at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) yesterday afternoon. Witnesses said, the incident happened when the admission of first year honours was in progress on the campus for the academic year 2013-14. Following an altercation between the supporters of Bappi group and Majed group over a trivial issue, a chase and counter -chase began which later turned into violent clashes.
