Aditi's latest album comes out tomorrow
“Barshamukhor Raat-e Phagun Sameeran-eâ€, noted Rabindra Sangeet singer Aditi Mohsin's latest album will be launched tomorrow at Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts in Dhaka, according to a press release.
Theatre personality Ramendu Majumdar will be present as chief guest at the album launch.
The album launch will be followed by Mohsin's live performance, featuring songs from the album.
The album features twelve songs on monsoon and spring, including “Esho Shyamol-o Shundor-oâ€, “Asharh Tomar Malaâ€, “Shyamal Chhayaâ€, “Amar Din Phuraloâ€, “Aaji Jhorer Raate Tomar Abhisharâ€, “Jodi Taare Nai Chini Go†and others. Noted Indian music director Durbadal Chattopadhyay has arranged the music.
The singer has a total of eight albums to her credit. She has been working as a senior teacher at Chhayanaut since 2000.
