BNP man hurt in attack

A local BNP leader was seriously injured in an attack allegedly by Awami League activists in Duppara Primary School area at Dubpara village in Sharsha upazila on Saturday night.
The injured was identified as Jamshed Ali, 40, organising secretary of Duppara village unit BNP and son of Fakir Ahmed of the village.
Jamshed Ali said, a gang led by Saheb Ali, and Kamal uddin swooped on him and beat him up mercilessly when he was returning home from Benapole Bazar.
The AL men attacked me following political enmity, he added.
