Phensidyl seized from egg cages

Police recovered 263 bottles of phensidyl from egg cages at Kalpir village in Pirganj upazila on Sunday night. They also arrested one Rafiqul Islam, 35, son of late Samsuddin of Milonpur village in Sadar upazila in this connection. Acting on a tip-off, a team led by Sub-Inspector of Pirganj Police Starion Abu Hasan Kabir raided a rickshaw-van and seized the phensidyl from seven egg cages. The law enforcers then arrested Rafiqul, who was carrying the cages, from the spot.
