Photography exhibition on Liberation War in Rangpur
A two-day photography exhibition on the Liberation War was inaugurated on Saturday evening at Rangpur Town Hall premises.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Advocate Rejina Razzak, Administrator of Rangpur Zila Parishad.
Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad's Rangpur district unit command organised the exhibition.
Mosaddek Hossain Bablu, freedom fighter and Commander of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad's Rangpur district unit Command, all members of the Rangpur unit, cultural activists and people from all walks of life were present at the inaugural ceremony.
A total of 50 photographs shot during the Liberation War were displayed at the exhibition.
While inaugurating the exhibition, Advocate Rejina Razzak said that the identity of an independent nation depends on its culture. Bangladesh achieved its freedom under the unique and dynamic leadership of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in 1971.
She said, the photographs bear testimony to the authentic history of Liberation War and these priceless photographs should be preserved for the next generation.
