Rajshahi University is the second largest university in Bangladesh.
There are more than 25,000 students at the university. Among them about 8,000 are female students. For these female students there are only five residential halls. This accommodation is not sufficient for them and another problem is insecurity.
These days it is a common sight that the outsiders (male) enter into the women halls at midnight. If this situation goes on, the parents of the female students will not feel secure to send their daughters to this university.
The university authorities should look into the matter.
