ACC chief calls for patience

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Ghulam Rahman yesterday called for patience to know the probe findings on the graft allegations in Padma bridge project.
“We're reviewing the probe report. It will take a little time to finalise the report. Keep patience to know about it,” he told reporters at the ACC head office.
ACC Commissioner Badiuzzaman said the commission has not yet taken any final decision to file FIR. “We'll sit again on Monday next. We are hopeful of taking final decision next week.”
Talking to reporters on Wednesday, ACC Commissioner M Shahabuddin had said that the ACC reviewed the legal aspects of the findings earlier submitted by its inquiry team and the commission finalised the inquiry report ensuring the evidence of graft conspiracy.
“We'll try our best to file the first information report (FIR) regarding the issue by tomorrow (Thursday),” he had said.
