International Human Rights Day observed

International Human Rights Day was observed in Manikganj with a seminar, play and songs.

International University in Dhaka and Bandutia Aftab Uddin High School(BAUHS) in Manikganj organised the event at the Bandutia Aftab Uddin High School premises on Tuesday.
Mossaraf Hossain, acting head teacher of BAUHS presided over the seminar while Md. Aslam Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Manikganj, Kazi Ali Reza, chief of United Nations Information Center (UNIC) in Dhaka, UNIC's Knowledge management officer its administrative officer Momtaz Begum addressed the gathering.
Anuj Kumer Chakrabarty, Hasanul Humayun Ronny, Alamgir Hossain, Alfasani Shuvbho, Dipak Chandra Shil, Tamzid Siddique, Rabiul Alam Reja, Abida Sultana, ZM Sazzad, Jannatul Sumiya, Minoti Chakma, Ariful Islam, Shaila Siddika, members of All Star group of Daffodils International University staged a play to create awareness on human rights. Later, the members of the All Star group, the students of BAUHS and local artistes rendered solo and chorus song on stage.
The day was dedicated to Malala Yousufzai who was shot by an extremist group in Pakistan for campaigning for girls' education, a basic human right.
